I am currently a researcher at CONICET (National Council of Scientific and Technical Research), Argentina and a member of the Limnology Laboratory (Lab. No. 65) at the Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences "Bernardino Rivadavia" . In June 2005, I finished my PhD on "Trophic ecology of the juveniles of the dominant sciaenids in Bahia Blanca estuary". I did my bachelor studies in the Department of Biology at the National University of the South, Argentina.


Research Interests and Areas

  • Biology and ecology of aquatic invasive species and their role in the native ecosystem.

  • Dynamic and diversity of aquatic benthic communities and their relationship with ecosystem processes.

  • Estuarine fish trophic ecology.

  • Estuaries as nursery areas for juvenile fish.
